Every month will be spotlighting salons across the US. This month we interviewed Ramon Estrada, Owner of America's Cuts in Torrance, California & 1st place winner of April 2010 photo contest. 
 
1. How did you get started in the beauty industry?
We started in the beauty industry about 10 years ago with one location, then a second and so on. Throughout the years we have developed our own name, including our own line of hair products.

2. What inspires you to go to work everyday?
What inspires us to go to work everyday is creating new styles and looks. Been able to see clients walk out with a smile on their face.

3. What do you think makes a salon successful?
What makes a salon successful is understanding your client needs and always giving a 100% satisfaction to your clients.

4. Do you have any advice for cosmetology students/recent graduates starting out in the salon industry?
"The best way to get experience and knowledge is hands-on"
